Who doesn't need more sewing organization? I think we as quilters could all need some extra help.
These prizes from HA Kidd would be amazing at helping with organization!
One prize is a notions box that has a removable tray to hold more notions below!
And the other prize is a soft sided tote with many zip pouches to keep everything in place.
In addition to these fabulous door prizes, HA Kidd has also donated sewing machine needles and needle info cards for all our gift bags!
Thanks again HA Kidd for supporting our retreat!
Thank you Suzanne from Knit Stitch!
Knit Stitch is a wonderful knitting and sewing shop in London, where you feel right at home sitting on the sofa knitting, or learning how to quilt in the classroom.
Knit Stitch has generously donated a $50 Gift Card for a retreat prize, and I am sure using it will be quite tempting once you step inside the shop!
Thanks again Knit Stitch for sponsoring our retreat!

Thanks again Sew Sisters! We appreciate your support!
Anita owns The Cotton Mill Threadworks and is the Canadian Thread Educator for Superior Threads.
For anyone that has met Anita in her booth at the numerous quilt shows she attends, you will see the passion she has for thread! Knowing which weight and fibre to use as well as picking the perfect thread colour are her strengths!
Superior Threads also has their own brand of sewing machine needles and Anita has donated a few packs to be included with our door prizes!
Here is a handy reference to pick which sewing machine needle you need for your project.

We had such fun last retreat making lanyards to swap, that we are doing it again. What better way to make a new friend at retreat than to swap a lanyard for our name tags?
Fill out your survey by Friday, get matched with a partner from another guild and then mail your lanyard by March 16th.
Then once we are at retreat, look to see who is wearing the lanyard you made and introduce yourself!
Here is a great tutorial: Lanyard instructions
Thanks again Rebecca for organizing such a fun swap!
Just a reminder to everyone that we have 3 vendors this year at retreat.
Mad About Patchwork, The Stitcharie and Stache Fabric and Notions will all have pop up shops on Saturday April 7th from 2-4pm.
Anyone can come shop from our vendors, not just retreat guests. So tell your friends, load up your car and come shopping!
You could even shop online for better selection and pick up your order that afternoon too.
Hope to see you there!
Thank you The Warm Company for sponsoring a door prize for our retreat!
They donated a queen size white batting, which is great to use in modern quilts with a lot of white fabric. The white batting gives a crisp white appearance to the quilt top, unlike the natural batting which can dull white fabrics.
Have a look on their website for some patterns and tutorials on using their batting.
Thanks again The Warm Company.
