Aren't quilting friends just the greatest? I was in Vancouver this past week and Krista from the Vancouver MQG suggested we do a road trip to the North Shore quilt shop called Stitch and Bobbin. I was excited to catch up with Krista, chat about quilting and of course for sightseeing and shopping! And I got to ride the SeaBus! Krista picked me up at the ferry terminal and we went to Deep Cove for coffee, hot chocolate and donuts, as well as some gift store shopping and also to look out over the cove. I think the whole province of BC must be stunning! After this adorable little town, we spent some time and $$ at Stitch and Bobbin which is a really cute store. Krista was also so thoughtful and gave our retreat a prize which includes her pattern Round Peg, Square Hole, as well as the necessary fabrics. If you are looking for more information about Krista and her patterns, or even to book her as a teacher, here is her blog. POPPYPRINTCREATES It was a lovely morning and a fun trip to go see a new part of our great country! Here is a view of the city of Vancouver from the North Shore. Thanks again Krista for being my tour guide as well as sponsoring our retreat! See you again next year!
